Acton-Boxborough United Way helps neighbors in crisis.

Through the Assist Fund - prior known as the SAGE fund - we provide emergency financial assistance to cash-strapped residents and families, facing an acute crisis and needing short-term help to pay rent, a medical or utility bill to get back on their feet.

All money raised on Giving Tuesday will go through the Assist Fund.

On this global giving day, you can make a big difference locally. By supporting the #ABUnited WayAssistFund, you directly help neighbors in our own community who are facing a financial crisis.

We have many residents who struggle to meet their basic needs, even when working two shifts. In the last few months, Acton-Boxborough United Way provided financial assistance to more than 10 families who faced overdue bills or eviction, because of a medical crisis, a job loss or other unexpected circumstances.  An average request is $500 and will go towards rent, mortgage or utility bill.

We don’t go it alone. Acton-Boxborough United Way works closely with our town social workers and other community partners.

GivingTuesday is about small acts that, together, have a great impact. The power of this day is in the strength of collective generosity. And today, you can choose to be a part of something this big.

Whatever amount you can give will become a part of something really big.

Donate today and encourage others in our community to do the same by using #GivingTuesday, #GiveUnited and #YouPowerChange#ABUnitedWayAssistFund.

Donate right here, right now.

Thank you!
